The New Mexico Department of Health can schedule third doses for some people who got their second dose of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine at least six months ago. People qualify if they are over age 65, are age 18-64 with at least one medical issue that increases their risk of severe COVID, and/or are workers in high-risk jobs. We can also schedule a second shot for anyone over the age of 18 who received a Johnson and Johnson shot more than two months ago. If you do not currently qualify for a booster, please check www.cdc.gov for future updates on boosters.
